E2 provides education and training for young people that are marginalised from mainstream education. We have a strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and pastoral care. The courses we currently offer are designed to provide the very best support for young people. We will help to develop their confidence, vocational, academic skills, reliance and potential. Most of our courses are intended to set young people up for their future life, work and careers by providing skills and knowledge that will actually help them to succeed.
- Travel and Tourism - Our Travel and Tourism course is designed to give students the skills and knowledge needed to work in the travel and tourism industry. This course is available at Level 1 and offers different modules which include areas such as: conduct at work, customer service, speaking confidently, UK travel destinations and planning for a job in travel and tourism.
- Functional Skills English - This Level 1 course is designed to give students the opportunity to develop and become more confident at taking part in one-to-one conversations and group discussions; reading and writing different kinds of texts and improving their spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- Functional Skills Maths - This course, which is also available at Level 1 is designed to give students the opportunity to develop and recognise how everyday situations can be represented using maths. They will learn how to calculate with fractions, decimals and percentages, how to create tables and charts, how to use metric measurement and how to work out averages, amongst other things.
- Introduction to the Hospitality Industry- This course is designed for students who wish to enter the catering industry, ultimately working within a food production environment. The course will allow for the development of basic practical cooking skills and the understanding required for a higher course in college or for work in the food industry at operative level. This course is available at Level 1 and offers different modules which include areas such as: basic cooking, using kitchen equipment, customer service and preparing and serving drinks.
