BEAUMONT LEYS PARTNERSHIP
E2 have received funds from The National Lottery Community Fund of £225,970.00 for a 5-year project in Beaumont Leys.
The Beaumont Leys Partnership aims to deliver activities to disadvantaged children and young people and bring together residents and organisations across
Beaumont Leys.
We hope to encourage residents to design and develop new projects and services that meet the needs of the local community. Organisational Development Advisors will guide partners through the processes, policies, and procedures that often stop new projects from taking off and sustaining themselves into the future.
An annual parade is being planned as a celebration of our Beaumont Leys Partnership Project and to recognise the history and heritage of the neighbourhood. As part of this project we are helping new community groups to establish themselves in Beaumont Leys, so this parade will be a chance for each of these groups to actively participate. Local schools will be invited to take part, with pupils and students being encouraged to show off their skills and talents. The parade will be held in July, marching from Beaumont Lodge Neighbourhood Association to the E2 Community Hub before ending in a Summer Fun Day at E2 with bouncy castles, popcorn, and a talent show.
