Wagia Khojeh is a third-year student from De Montfort University, studying health and wellbeing. She currently volunteers for E2 three days a week on the COVID-19 Emergency Food Parcel Scheme and enjoys participating in the project because it is helping to improve her work experience and personal skills, as well as supporting people in need and helping a worthy cause to build a stronger community.

She has been preparing food parcels, paying particular attention to people's dietary requirements and other essentials that people in the community. Wagia said “We tend to make 30-40 food parcels a day and help our delivery drivers load their vehicles before distribution to residents in the local community”. She added, “Having charities like E2 improves the life of the community and I am pleased to be allowed to build my experiences for future employment. I have learned a valuable lesson at E2 by improving my communication skills and working as part of a team which I can take into future employment”.
